Progesterone And Cyst Causing Miscarriage

I found out yesterday that I had a miscarriage, the doc checked my hcg levels and they were at 74, I had cramping and mild brown spotting, The doc did the ultrasound and I have a 2 inch cyst now on my right side that was not there 3 weeks ago. I was reading about progesterone, and I am wondering if this had anything to do with me m/c has this happened to anyone else?( just curious till I get to see my ob/gyn)
