I have been spotting a brownish color for going on 2 weeks now...When I went to wipe today I noticed it was red.....It hasnt continued yet but I am really nervous. I went to the doctor last week but all they are saying is I hear the baby's heartbeat and everything looks fine from the ultrasound. Somebody please tell me something more!

Could be any number of things causing the brown spotting, including many that are not problems for the fetus. You should immediately call your doctor about the red.

I had the same problem two weeks ago....I had a brown spotting for 1 1/2 weeks then it turned to a light red so I went to my doctor and she said that I could be pregnant so she gave me a prenatal vitamins....I had a papsmear too and Im still waiting for the result......Hope it will turn out okay......Please pray for me...Im worried too......I missed my period already so Im a__suming the doctor was right that I'm pregnant....I just dont know how far I am.....

am 11 weeks and have brown spotting, I've had a scan and it turns out it could be the remains of a twin that wasn't viable! the other is ok though and heart beat etc are normal..good luck
