What Happens When Miscarrying

I thought I was 8 weeks pregnant but on the ultrasound I had Friday it showed a 5 week old sack. I have an appointment in two weeks and am wondering what will happen till then. When I was pregnant with my sons I had to be induced at 42 weeks. Will this mean that this time it may be the same. Or will my body try to get rit of this...? I would like to hear your expiriences.....

you unfornunatly need to wait until the next Dr. appt because you need to see where the sac measures then. If the sac has not grown then it means you will have a miscarriage. That happened to me, when I should have been 8 weeks the sac measured 6 and then 2 weeks later it measured 5. The sac had shrunk and no fetus was there. About 2 weeks later I had my miscarriage.
