I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks in February 2005. The baby's heart stopped beating at 7 weeks and I had a D&C at 9 weeks. We had a normal period and then found out we were pregnant again in April 2005. We were surprised and overjoyed. But as the weeks passed, at 9 weeks I started to cramp and then the bleeding started. Another D&C at the end of June 2005. We have a 5 year old son and a four year old son. I am 35 yrs old this year and we really wanted a third child. I know that we are very blessed to have our beautiful boys and I thank God for them every day. But something inside me really wants to have a third. My husband does also, but he does not want me to go through another miscarriage and surgery. When is an appropriate and safe time to try again? Should we wait at least 2-3 normal periods? I am having difficulty getting over the second miscarriage and wonder what our future may hold. If anyone has any advice, I would love to hear from you.
