Abdominal Scar & Pregnancy...any Complications?

Hi,
I have a horizontal scar, which is the whole width of my stomach. I have had this scar since the day I was born due to having an emergency operation. I am now 29 and never had any problems with the scar (very rarely it may be a little itchy) but nothing out of the norm.
I have spoken to the doctor about what would happen when I do get pregnant and weather the scar will stretch sufficiently etc. Obviously they couldn't give me too much info as everyone is different but said it could be a little unfomfy/itchy due to the stretching. Due to the fact I have had the scar since birth it has already stretched with me over the years growing. Obviously lots of people have abdominal scars and go through pregnancy with no problems.
My main concern is that I have had the scar since birth and that it is literally the who width of my stomach.
Has anyone had any experiences of this or know of anyone that has had a normal pregnancy? I am struggling to find info online.
Any help, info or advice greatly appreciated.
