i am 32 weeks pregnant and my dr. told me that the cord is around the babys neck. should i be very concerned? (bec. i am!!)

the cord was around my daughter's neck when she was born and my dr didn't know because we didn't have that technology 23 yrs ago. anyway, he said i was about 2 seconds away from going upstairs for a C-section. when i would contract and push, her heartbeat would slow down quite a bit. he reached in with the forcepts and pulled her out (8lbs) and she was grey and didn't cry at first but then she did cry. she had some red lines around her neck for a while that eventually went away. as i look back i know that the tugging i was feeling around my belly b___ton was the cord around her neck. praise God because he truly works in miracles. good luck!
