Empty Sack Measuring At 6 Wk

I had a scan on Wednesday 22nd April because I was bleeding alot and it was bright red suppose to have been 7 week and sack is empty and measuring at 6 weeks they kept telling me to prepare myself for the worst anyone else been through this and had a successful pregnancy?
