I AM IN THE SAME BOAT. I HAVE HAD SOME BLEEDING AND I AM SUPPOSED TO BE AROUND 4-5 WEEKS. I HAVE ALREADY HAD 1 MISCARRIAGE 3 MONTHS AGO AND TOMORROW I WILL KNOW THE RESULTS OF THIS TEST. I AM PRAYING SO HARD THAT THIS IS NOT ANOTHER MISCARRIAGE. WHEN SHE TESTED ME ABOUT A WEEK AGO MY LEVELS WERE RATHER LOW. SO SHE PUT ME ON SOME PROGESTRONE TO SEE IF THAT WOULD HELP WITH THE PLACENTA AND STOP THE BLEEDING. I GET MY RESULTS TOMMORROW KEEP ME IN YOUR PRAYES AND YOU WILL STAY IN MINE:)

Hi everyone! If any of you have read this thread frome the beginning, I am the "beth" who started here w/ Cate and Tara. I wanted to update everyone on my story. I am currently 5 weeks pregnant again. Waiting to get more hcg results in today from my Dr. The first set was taken on thurs. I was 4 weeks 3 days and my levels were around 1100miu/ml, which they said was good. So, although i'm still playing the numbers game like most of you, I am hopeful this time that they are doubling. I "feel" differently this time too. I can't really explain it, but I just had a strong sense that something was very wrong last time. Even before I knew their was. So, for now I just feel so lucky to have been given another chance. My wish is that this may bring everyone a bit of hope for your current or future pregnancies. Certainly, no two are alike! We just have to keep trying and eventually, I think we will all make it to our ultimate goal. Stay strong ladies!! ~~~~~Best of luck!!!!~~~~~ ; )

I just got my test resalts back my hcg is 18.5 I am around 5 weeks I have been bleeding for 3 days now but not really cloting is there any chance it might go up I go tommorow for more blood tests to see if they go up or down but I am so scared has anyone had them this low and have a normal pregnancy??

i am in a nerve wrecking place right now too . My hcg levels are very low started at 66 at 4wks then 113,132 then yesterday at 213. Today i am 6 weeks i have all the pregnancy symptoms bar the good hcg level.Feel really up n down dr says may miscarry but will do ultra sound on Friday . Other hormones are really good. Is there anyone out there with similar story and a good outcome?

connie, i think i've written about my experience, so you can look under the entries labeled karen. i had a surprising and wonderful outcome and things are still going well for me. i am 25 weeks now and am expecting a healthy baby boy in october. my heart is with you and yours, hoping the best for you.

I just went to my first appt. today and I really thought everything was going to turn out great. NOT, the Dr performed an ultrasound and did not find anything in my uterus but a pregnant lining. I am suppose to be 5 wk and 3 days. He ordered an hcg leve the resulted in 289. I have another one scheduled in 48 hrs. I really hope the levels rise for good. If they do double up in 48 hours, then the pregnancy is still in progress and now the Dr needs to find the implantation. I hope its not ectopic. If the leves go lower of stay the same, then its a possibility that there has been a mc (I have no symptoms) and my body is reabsorbing it. I am so confused. Does anyone know of this problem?

I wouldn't worry yourself too much if I were you. With my son I found out I was preg at about 10 wks and my levels were extremely low. No heartbeat til wk 12. Needless to say when the time came I had a healthy 8 lb 9 oz baby boy. Good Luck!! Keep us posted!!

Hi Cate, You should definatley have your doctor test your progesterone levels. You are not too late for the pills or the suppositories. I demanded that my doctor checked mine given my past history and we discovered my prog. levels were dropping. At 8 weeks my levels were only 9.3 (prog.) I insisted that he give me a precript. for prog. and he did. I sinced changed doctors and although my previous doc told me to expect misscarraige, I am now 24 weeks pregnant with a long awaited girl. Which I find rather amazing since my first doc was sure I was having a miscarraige. PLease keep me posted on how things work out for you. It seems to me it's too early for you to give up hope....... Hello to all of you, all of your stories have made me feel like im not alone. I feel very lucky to have 2 healthy boys. I did have a m/c in 2003. I am currently pregnant, my lmp was june 3, i started taking tests july 6 and they were all neg. so on the 7/13 went to see my dr. and he said i must of gotten pregnant the first week of july. my hcg level as of the 17th was 387 they have doubled, my doctor is watching the levels. I go in on my mon. to get my levels tested again, i am not sure what to think because i am only 3 weeks if that. My doctor said at first i was preg for a few days, until my levels started going up, he seems amazed because the dates dont match up. Any way ill will keep you all posted and you will all be in prayers. Thanks!

Nessa, we have a similar story, my first hcg level was 22. My doc told me I was pregnant for a short time, so he still had me come in for another test and it was 150 then it was 378. i go tomorrow for another hcg test. Get another hcg test done. Hang in there i know how you are feeling.

hi i was wondering if some one can get bk to me i went last week to dr and took a blood test it came back as 10 in my hgc and i took 6 hm test they all came back postive and now i've been spoting brown stuff for 4 days i just want to know if anyone ever had low hgc and end up going up on there hgc? please get back to me asap i'm going crazy just thinking about it thanks..

Nessa, I had the same thing happen to me. Unfortunately, things didn't work out for me, but that doesn't necessarily mean the same for u. If u read through, a lot of these woman have had good outcomes. Good luck to u. I will say a prayer for u. Keep us posted
