Hello Ladies,
It's been so long since last I posted, last year.
I'm reading through this and beaming with joy!!! Ladies, I give your my prayers for a healthy/blessed pregnancy.
Currently, it's almost a year (as of July 10th) since my myo and we've been trying actively since January & haven't been blessed yet. I'm not giving up hope, still optimistic. I did have a few months where it was a bit emotional when Aunt Flo showed up, a bit frustrating to be honest at times. Had a really tough time in the Spring when my older sister reminded me (because clearly I'd forgotten), that I wasn't getting any younger, I needed to get on the ball w/ getting pregnant and stop dragging my feet. Was a b__w to my system initally, but have become less & less sensitive to inconsiderate comments. We have to understand that blessings come at God's time.
I've recently considered IVF, my husband, thinks it will be astronomical and that neither of our insurance will cover it, this is what he's heard from family & co-workers, etc. We both have United Healthcare & I haven't actually called to throughly check on the insurance particulars, but am looking forward to checking this out now. At this point I'm willing to at least go in for a consultation, but am nervous. Wish me well.
I will be checking regularly to see how you ladies are progressing in & toward your blessings.
Thanks for providing me a forum to exhale.
Blessings!!

Wow Joker - You must really be excited to post 3x! Thanks so much for the good wishes. You did start a wonderful thread. A lot has happend in a year.
Ms Monet - Just had the typical first trimester symptoms, I was very lucky to just be basically nausues most of he time, but no true morning sickness, and very tired by late afternoon. 2nd trimester has been a little different - more phyical pains (round ligament, etc.). But I feel so fortunate that I really can't complain about anything. The most important thing is the boys (yes 2 boys) are healthy. Had a CVS at 11 wks and advised that the chances for any chomosonal/genetic (downs, etc.) abnormalities were extremely slim.
Pryncss - Definitely check with your insurance company, certain parts of IVF may be covered (the meds, bloodwork...) you never know. But for me IVF was the only answer.

Hi Pryncss it is nice to hear from you again. I hope all goes well for you and hope your insurance cover a good portion of the cost. Who knows maybe once you find out all the info and you are ready to give it a try you will end up pregnant...life is funnythat way :) How is everyone doing..msMonet let me know how things are going with you... bye

Hi everyone - I'm still out here, starting 32 weeks this weekend. No complaints, no issues. And best of all, no doctor saying "Well that fibroid has now grown to [insert some crazy size like a watermelon here]"). Glad to hear the good news from all the other gals on this board. Stay well and keep cool!

HEY GIRLS-Hope all is well. Went in for an u/s today and the twins look great!!! Guess what? I have another fibroid that is growing fast. Its so huge. I know its growing fast because of all the hormones... I was told all will be OK. If it runs out of blood suplly... I was told that it could be very painful but I will be OK in a matter of days... Trying not to anticipate that... Darn, critters just won't leave me alone. The ivf hormones made them grow at a faster rate. They were tiny at the beginning of the year. Now I have one big one and a bunch of tiny ones... PRYNCESS-Pls, update us on what happened... Any questions, let me know. If I were you... If possible... I would get a new plan and just pay the $300 or $400 per month. BCBS pays at least 70% to 90%. Mine pays 90%. Paying the monthly is nothing compared to paying the cost for ivf and drugs... JOKER-What's new?

Hi girls! Glad to hear from you..MelissaK it is so nice to see that 32 weeks..I feel like I can breathe a little easier for you now..I know you still have a ways to go...but wow 32 weeks...hang in there girl..the wait is almost over..if you posted this before..can't remember..do you know if you are having a boy or girl..and have you picked out any names yet..I'm so excited for you.. MsMonet...I can't believe those darn things are back...already..did the doc say where they were..or at least where the big one is..but I'm sure when they say big it is probably no where near the size of the previous ones..because I know they used the term big for the two large ones I had but in reality they were more like two melons trying to fit into a pear..you know what I mean so I'm hoping when they say big they ae just saying its big because it is bigger than the size of a pea..but not that much bigger...I'm so excited for you. You've got to post every week so we can hear about those incredible twins :) Nothing much going on with me...i'm going to continue taking my BC pills until the end of August and we are going to start trying after that...in Nov. I'm going to give myself a month to get the pills out of my system..I know it only takes a few days for the hormones to be out..but just to be safe...I'm going to start taking pre-natals, folic acid, and iron..will get those tomorrow..and I should also start excersing..or at least walking at a brisk pace :) Hello to everyone else and stay in touch :)

hi... just checking in... hope everyone is well... tried "for real" this month (3rd positve OPK since surgery in May), but although we were timely, no positive results... but there's always the next cycle, right?... of course, the negative result and the period are always disappointing, but I'm not discouraged... hope no one else is, either... and hope and pray that our moms-to-be are doing super well.

Heyyy beautiful ladies (and any guys on here - lol),
I'm still here. Just wanted to drop in and say hi since I've been MIA lately. I'm here but (unfortunately it's just me, if you know what I mean). Didn't want to discourage anyone. I believe you all will be fine. I had some complications and will be trying again in the fall (hopefully). GOD IS YET WONDERFUL even thru the hard times.
Be blessed!!!
