Hello! I had a tubal 7 years ago after the birth of my twin girls. I am now 13 days late. I took a preg. test last Sunday and on Wednesday and a very faint line appeared. I went ahead and had a blood test done on Friday and the HCG came back at <1. I still feel light headed and nauseus. My nipples are sore and dark. Is it possible to actually be pregnant with vurtually non existant HCG levels? I am only 34 years old so I do not think that I am going through the change. I am always on time or at least by one to two days.

jeannie- i also had my tubes tied a second time in 2000, and now want another baby. i have a appt on the 28th and i am going to ask about a reversal. my tubes were cut, tied and burned. i would also like to know if anyone else has had theres done twice, and if so has anyone gotten pregnant without reversal or ivf? i am really curious to know because if i can have a baby without surgery that would be nice, lol. maybe god can help. oh im 35.

Are there any restictions to having a tubal ligation?

laurie - April 26

Summer- sometimes there is restrictions. Usually they would like you to at least have one natural child. sometimes it depends on your age. it differs with every doctor. i was 25 at the time but i also had 3 children, he still didnt want to do them but certain things that were going on in my life i wanted them done. i dont know if that helps just talk to your dr.

Well ladies I think we all have answered some of our questions, maybe the pregnancy symptoms are symptoms we go through because we have our tubes tied. I am 28 with 3 children and I have two friends that also have their tubes tied and they both have the same symptoms that were all complaining about. I just got off my period and am feeling sick to my stomach, lower back and abdominal pains, heartburn, tenderness of the b___st, the whole nine. I wish I was aware of the symptoms before getting my tubes tied because I would not have gotten them done. I go through this at least one a month. But this month is a little unusual because I am having shoulder pains and a couple of weeks ago I was having an excruiating pain iin my lower right side and I thought it may have been a bladder infection or something. I've been coming on my period regularly. What we need to know is the symptoms women have when they have experience a pregnancy after having a tubal ligation. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

jameelah- i agree with you i would like to know that also. and from what you have described about shoulder pain and pain in right side from what i have read on here sounds like ectopic to me, but i dont know that for sure be careful!. i have never had a ectopic since my tubes were done and i hope not to. but right now am feeling very heavy around the midline, tired etc. so i woukd also like to know what r the symptoms of pregnancy after a tubal ligation. good luck to everyone!

Well ladies I was 5 days late when my period hit. I cired for an hour. I really want another baby. I don't even know if it is possible because in addition to the tubal ligation I have polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and fibroid tumors. I am wondering if all the symptoms that I have been having are because of the fibroids or just a side effect of the tubal that we all seem to go through at some point. About 3 years ago my gyn started talking hysterectomy with me and I refused to even think about it. My husband wants me to consider for health reasons, and because he does not want me to go through being heartbroken every time my period shows up. Help, please! What should I do?

HI Everyone! I wish I had some answers, but I, much like all of you am still searching for answers. I am 25 mother of 3 beautiful babies 5, 3, and 5months. I had my tubal done in November after my 3 was born. I have never missed a period (unless I was pregnant). My cycles were always like clockwork. I have not had a period in over 50days...thats right since March 8! When my husband and I decided to have my tubes tied (so he didn't have to have the vasectomy) we knew that it was going to be permanent. I am scared to death that I am pregnant for the 4th time. Can anyone shed some light on my situation. I know that if its God's will, then I have to live with it, but I just can't afford it financially or mentally.

i had my tubes tied in 1992 after my 2nd child i am now 12 days late for my period. i had a little spotting about 2 weeks ago now nothing but a little cramping i thought of taking a hpt but i dont know how common is it to get pregnant after so many years and how common would it be to be in my tubes?

hi guys, well i had a second opinion from another doctor and she said if i had a natural miscarriage there is no reason why i cant carry a baby full term, she said to play it safe and have a test done where they put dye through your tubes to see if they are ok, hope this is comforting for some of you out there. cya and god bless

previous to having my miscarriage i had all the natural signs of being pregnant eg: tender b___sts,and i was also very tired i would come home from work and sleep on the couch for about an hour which is very unusual for me,and the feeling of bloating at the pit of my tummy, i hope this helps, but if u are feeling alot of pain and also pain in your right shoulder definitly get it checked out because they are signs of an etopic. the pain in the right shoulder iwas told is due to you losing blood which is the cause of a ruptured tube.if you get signs of pregnancy get it checked out earlier because if its an etopic they can give you medication to eliminate it which will save your tube. hope this helps you and gl to all.
