I have had a coil fitted 6 years ago and are going to have it removed soon. How soon can I fall pregnant as we have decided to have our 2ndchild now?

My name is Alicia. I have 5 children. Three of my children were given up for adoption to the same family. Right after that happened, I became pregnant with my daughter. Three years ago I got cut, tied, and burned. I am trying to find out if there is anyway that I can get pregnant again. I am now married to my daughter's father, and I want to have another baby very badly. I don't have enough money to do the reversal. Does anyone know what I can do? Should I look into maybe getting invetro or is that just as expensive?

Alicia- I know how costly it is to get a TR, but I have done a lot of researching and chatting with many a people and I am going to have Dr. Perez do my TR. He is highly recommended by many individuals. He is in Mexico-right off the border, and is very reasonable compared to Dr.'s here in the states. Good luck to you!

Hi Ladies! Just a little info for those who are wondering if you can become pregnant after a tubal. Yes, I had my tubes tided after my 3rd child and was pregnant (and in shock) seven months after the procedure. Now I am 3 weeks late and I am never late. What I want to know, is what are the odds of getting pregnant after 2 tubal ligations. I had it done again after my fourth child. I'll keep ya'll posted.

Alicia... Dr. Streeter in Indiana does it for $4300. He does it as a ministry. His site is surgicalreversals.com

I just wanted to update everyone... I shared before that I had been praying that my husband would let me get a reversal or that God would take care of things. And I got pg but miscarried. I just had a HSG test yesterday (where they put dye in you to see your tubes) and BOTH have reconnected!! I am so excited!!! I am so thankful that God took care of this in HIS way!! I have always been very fertile so I'm trusting I will have news to share soon!!

has anyone tied their tubes, gotten pregnant and tied them a second time? I had my tubes tied, cut, and burned 11 months ago. I'm currently 38 weeks pregnant after my ubal ligation. I'm having a c-section friday, Nov. 11h, and I'm considering having the surgery done once again, but I'm also afraid that I will get pregnant again.

Hi Tracey, Please update us when you return because my husband and I are really thinking about going to mexico and having my tubes reversed the early part of next year. I would greatly appreciate any information that you will have on your experience. God Bless and have a safe trip!

To Saroyce: - November 15

Hi! I sure will! You should also check out the testimony page at dr. perez's website - riobravoreversal.com - all those testimonies were the deciding factor for my dh and I deciding on dr. perez! I will post my update probably on monday! --tracey

So on 8-2-05 I ad a tubal a portion of eac tube was cut out and all ends were burned. Te problem is I ave yet to ave a period. I've spotted a few times but no period. I am not prenant but tis concerns me. I am also crampin a lot. I guess I can't complain I'm not prenant and have no period but I still tink its not rit was tinking in like anoter month will call doctor to see whats up. Also I am not nor have I ever b___st feed.

Paula - November 16

To Micelle - I would call my doctor and let them know the problems you are experiencing. From what I've researched everyone seems to react differently to the surgery and it also depends on if they have the procedure after a pregnancy or just later on choose to have the tubal done. Your doctors office should be able to advise you over the phone about what you should worry about or not.
