To Laura & MAB, I'm also in the same boat I'm afraid. I had my tubal (cut, tied, cauterized) almost 7 years ago after my 3rd son & now I'm 2 weeks late but thought it was from stress. But the last week I've been very nauseated so now I'm thinking I may be pregnant. I know it's in God's hands, but I'm still concerned. Maybe He wants me to have the daughter I always wanted. :) I just didn't know pregnancy was so common after having my tubal. I am going to the Dr on Tues, so I guess I'll know soon! I know what you mean.. my af's have been like clockwork for the past 15 yrs, normal heavy flow for first 3-4 days then tapered off. then in Mar it started out spotty the 1st day , 2nd & 3rd day only light flow in a.m, then spotting rest of day then 4th day spotting..(since I had my tubal ligation) and in mar it was really weird.. my bbs have been swollen for the past 6-7 weeks, and sore .. (today they arent bad tho) have those little white bumps on them, and yest I felt like little bubbles a few times in my lower abdomen .. so anyway I guess i will just wait and see what happens 2morrow.. but gl to u Kim.. keep in touch

I AM 24 YEARS OLD AND HAVE 2 BEAUTIFUL GIRLS 5 AND 3 I GOT MY TUBES TIED AFTER HAVING A C SECTION WITH MY SECOND BABY I HAVE BEEN SHOWING SIGNS OF BEING PREGNANT BUT THE KICKER IS MY BOY FRIEND HAS A VASECTOMY ALSO AFTER HAVING HIS 3 YEAR OLD SON IS THIS EVEN POSSABLE

i am a 27 year old mother of 3 and a diabetic. my youngest was born in 8/2001. i have had 3 c-sections and when i had my youngest in 2001 i had a tubal done. she will be 4 this year and my periods have never been late since i had her. i was suppose to have started on 4/3/2005. well today i am 10 days late. i feel very tired, i am having mild cramps on and off, i eat more than i normally do and my b___st are tender and my nipples are starting to look funny. i also get very cranky with my boyfriend and my 3 kids which is not like me. i would like to have another baby.my boyfriend doesn't have any kids of his own. is it possible that i could be pregnant even after a tubal ligation done in the summer of 2001? i hope that i am pregnant and i know that if God wants me to have another baby then he will let me. please pray for me as i will be praying for all of you girls.

well i feel alot better after reading all of these messages. i had my tubes cut burned you named it in 2000, the second time the first time in 1996 didnt work which ended in miscarriages. now i met a man whom ive been with for 4 years and we want a child but im scared to do the reversal. im hoping god is looking over me. i havent missed a period since 2000, but lately i have been so tired and have lower back pain, nauseated, you name so im hoping that maybe nature will take over and there is nothing seriously wrong, i will keep everyone posted. if anyone with these symptoms goes to a doctor and knows whats wrong let me know. and oh im 35 so maybe its the pre menopausal thing also

I am sick and I get really sick in the morning, but, I finally had my period 12 days after it was due and it lasted for about two days not really heavy at all, no cramps this time too. Now, I am spotted and have a discharge and sore b___st, but, I am still praying every night so I can have another precious little daughter. I will be praying for all of you and Please pray for me as well. Thanks ladies and I will keep in touch.

I got my tubal ligation (bands) done in 1998 at age 23. When I got this procedure done, my doctor said it was the easist to reverse(?). He was concerned that I was to young to get my tubes tied and may want to reverse them later. My period is 2wks late. Between my husband and I, we have 5 children. My three are 12 and 8yrs old twins. His are 7 and 5. Totally 4 boys and the youngest is a girl. I think I am pregnant. From reading online info, it is possible. I'll post a message again in a couple of weeks. Any info welcome!

well i wanted to tell my story right this time. my children are 18,16,and 8 im 35. after the birth of my8 year old c-section i had my tubes tied. it failed i had 2 miscarriages. in jan of 2000, i had them done again this time burned and cut i guess, he gave me pictures to show that he did it right this time. i havent missed a period or anything but have had times when i thought i was pregant only to start bleeding which felt like a miscarriage. im with a man now whom ive been with for 4 years hes 41 and wants one of his own. i dont want the reversal done because of the risk of failure. it sounds like on here that you might be able to still get pregnant even after they have been burned. and im right to a__sume that. ive also had lower back pains nauseated, b___sts growing. could anyone let me know if im right to a__sume that its possible to get pregant even after they have been burned? i have drs appt on the 28 of this month to talk about a reversal, but i would much rather let it be in gods hands. any input would be nice.

I am 36yrs old and had a tubal almost 11yrs ago after having my 2nd child. I have never been late since having it done, but here i am almost 3wks late and worried. My husband and i dont want more kids thats why we chose tubal ligation. I have drs apptmt next wk. I'll keep you posted. From what i've read on here, it sounds like i prob have ectopic pregnancy...

i had a tubal in 1999 because of an etopic. my husband and i are trying to have a baby now, but so far no luck. are our chances of having a baby slim to none?

Hello all, wow I can't believe everything I've been reading. I'm 31, have a 9 year old son, twin girls who will be 3 in June. June 2002 I had a tubal litigation. I have been clockwork on my cycle since having the twins. I'm almost 2 weeks late now. I was dry heaving Sunday night and then again last night. I have bought a pregnancy test, but was going to wait another week to see if I may start. I am reading about ectopic pregnancies. Do you not have a menstrual cycle with an ectopic pregnancy? I just found this site today and I can't believe that its that easy to get pregnant after having a tubal. Best of luck to everyone on here. I'll give an update when I have news. Take care :)

To Melanie--I also posted one on the 13th. I'm 35, have 3 boys (15, 10, 6), had my tubal in 1998 & now I'm 2 weeks late. I also didn't know it was so common for women to conceive after a tubal. I did a home preg test today & it's negative. But what I've read, ectopic pregnancies don't always give you a positive hCG reading. So I'll keep praying & wait for my dr. appt. on Tues.
