Good news everybody...I started my period TODAY!

hi guys i posted on here march the 26th, well im in a dilemma, i have been to my doc and have gotten the options of having a baby she said it would be quite risky as my tubes r scarred from the tubal the ovum has a good chance of getting damaged travelling through to get to the uterus. i really want another baby but then i dont, i keep changing my mind have any of u had this dilemma? also i would love to see more postings on u gals that have posted not sure if u were pregnant and to see how u r now? preggie or not? hope everyone is ok and my thoughts r with u all. god bless and take care

Wendy, i am 35 with 3 kids 18,16, and 8, i also want another child. had my second tubal ligation in 2000. i really dont want the reversal though. i to keep changing my mind about having another. my husband to be is 41 qnd has none of his own. its hard because my children are older and im getting older,and i woul;d hope i have the strength from within to raise another, but i also think about how tired i get now im not as patient as i used to be, but on the other hand, i love kids and im a good mother, i think if anyone has good qualities, among other things they deserve to have children. there are alot of people who have children, that really dont deserve them. i have talked to all 3 of my children they would love to have another brother, so as long as they are ok with it and im pretty sure its what i want then i would say if you feel that you really want this and its possible for you to get pregnant then go for it. i dont know if that helps but maybe it just helped me!!!

Wendy, is there any way you can get Invitro-Fertilization rather than risking getting a reversal? Can they plant an egg in your uterus maybe? Just a thought. Did they give you that option? Still no aunt flow for me this morning. I'm a little worried now after reading all the post that I may have an ectopic pregnancy if I am indeed pregnant. If I'm pregnant I wouldn't mind having another baby. I think I'll be upset if its ectopic. Maybe I'll start here soon. I'll keep updating.

Hi girls, I too am in the same boat. I had my tubes tied and burnt in 1999. I have never been late before but this time I am about 2 to 3 months late. I took 2 pregnacy home test back to back and both are negative.. but still no period. I have no healthcare so not sure what to do. We need a doctor here to answer all this questions.

I'M SITTING HERE SCARED TO DEATH. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. YESTERDAY, I THOUGHT I GOT MY PERIOD. IT WAS NORMAL AT FIRST. A COUPLE OF HOURS LATER, I FELT IT GUSHING OUT OF ME. I WENT TO CHANGE MY PAD AND I HAD 2 BIG BLOOD CLOTS ON THE PAD. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR 2 DAYS NOW. I CAN'T MOVE CERTAIN WAYS BECAUSE I CAN FEEL IT GUSHING OUT OF ME AGAIN AND ALOT. I HAD A TUBAL DONE DECEMBER 1996. I FEEL MY MOVING IN MY STOMACH LIKE ALMOST WHEN YOUR STOMACH GROWLS. I'M TIRED, I HAVE PAINS THAT SHOOT UP MY BACK. IT'S THE NEXT DAY AND I'M STILL GUSHING OUT BLOOD. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME AND ANSWER ME IF I COULD BE PREGNANT OR IF I'M HAVING A MISCARRIAGE? Shorty - I'd be calling your OBGYN immediately and tell them what is going on. What you are experiencing don't sound normal. From what I've been reading on these posts it sounds like an ectopic pregnancy or a miscarriage. Please give us an update after talking to or seeing a doctor. Take care.

I have been reading this board now for quite some time - and it's time for me to put my two cents in! I am post tubal band and cauterization 13 years. My husband and I had a plan when we got married 15 years ago, that we would have 2 biological children and adopt 2 more. We are finally at the stage where we are ready to adopt - however, the cost to do so are so unbelievably high - that it is out of our reach. So, here comes Jan. 2005, I start spotting and bleeding for about 2 weeks. When I went to the gyne, she did a pregnancy test. Of course I said, :there's no way I'm pregnant - I had my tubes tied!" She explained to me that she has been seeing more and more pregnancies with women that had tubal ligations done more than 10 years ago! Imagine my surprise! I wasn't pregnant in January, but my husband and I decided - what the heck - let's give it a shot! The gyne explained to me that when I had a really bad virus in Jan (with coughing) that a fistula may have formed and is providing a means for the egg to be fertilized. Since my husband is impotent due to hypertension medicines, it takes a little bit more work on our side to place the little fellows inside of me - but we gave it a shot! I will not be able to test to see if I am pregnant until April 20th - I will let you know. I wanted to give all of you some hope that getting pregnant again without reversal is truly possible! But I also want some of you to remember that if you are pre-menopausal, you may get some of the same symptoms as pregnancy. Or if you feel a "fluttering" you may actually have uterine fibroids. They are not dangerous, but they can delay your period - or give you abnormal bleeding. The only way you can find out if it is fibroids is through a visit to the gyne. I know the feeling of wanting a new baby, the smell, the feeling of that baby holding on to you as though you are the only one in their world! I wish you all the best!

Hi all, its me again. I posted on the 10th and here it is the 17th and still no period. Tomorrow is my official start date and I have no signs that my period is gonna show up. I am now officially 31 days late. I am scared to buy a hpt because even though I would love to have another baby, I don't think my husband does. Our last baby was definatley not planned but we would not trade him for the world. I have just been thinking that with my luck I am probably pregnant. You see, in 2001 I got preg with my 3 year old and I had the IUD, I just see him as a blessing from God and that it must have been ment to be. Maybe God has another little angel up there that needs a good mommy and so maybe he has plans to send me one more. I will welcome it with open arms, but at the same time I am pretty scared to fit another child into my life. Between my husband and I, we have 5 children and its hard enough financially, but if God thinks we can handle another than so be it. If I am prego than I pray that it will be a healthy pregnancy as opposed to ectopic. As soon as I either take a hpt or see the obgyn I will post again with whatever news I receive and maybe it will help some of you other women understand what might be going on with you. I had a tubal(buring too) done in 2001, last period it was dark..black almost...kinda scared me. I would love to have a child and, me and my husband just got a divorce, I am hoping and praying to God that Iam pregant. I loved my husband very much and would love to have his child and this is my last chance seeing as how we are no longer together....pray that God will give me that baby:)

thanks for your posting. in order for me to get the ivf treatment done i would have to go private and that costs quite abit, i can also go on the waiting list through public funding but they grade u as to how important your case is and i look at it that i have 3 healthy girls and i wouldnt want to slow someone elses process down on having a babe.im glad u gals r giving us updates as to how u r goin its really rea__suring to know that it is possible. i hope all works out well for everybody and god bless.
