did your daughter get her chicken pox vaccine when she was young??? If not then I strongly suggest that they stay away. I have not had the vaccine as a child and my infertility dr told me it is very important to stay away from people with and people who have been around chicken pox because it is detramental to the fetus. If she had the vaccine then I would be very careful because you can also have lost the emmunity to it over the years. My suggestion is just to be on the safe side have them stay away. Good Luck

Her cousin CANNOT be a carrier of the virus, without actually having the virus and exhibiting the signs of CP. Keep the son away from your daughter b/c even if your daughter has had the CP, she can still acquire the adult form of CP (shingles) through contact with an infected individual. Do a google on shingles and you will find much information. Again, the mother of the boy with CP CANNOT be a carrier unless she is sick with CP herself.
