Pregnant With Genital Herpes

I just found out im preganant and have had genital herpes for about 5 years. I am taking Valtrex. Should i be worried the medicine will do damage?

I would worry. You need to talk to your doctor right away and see what he says. The first trimester is when your baby is most at risk!

I am just taking it prior to delivery, but I don't usually have outbreaks.
