I am 8 weeks pg and yesterday experienced some light pink spotting and then pa__sed 2 very small clots. The spotting has stopped and everything seems fine now. No cramping or anything at all. This is the first place i've seen other people mention having clots. I'm worried this may be the beginning of a miscarriage. Anyone else have clots and have everything come out OK?

Hi all, I had my last period on september 30th. Now it is October 31st. My usual cycle length is 25-28 days. Till today morning I thought I am pregnant. But today morning when I checked my mucus with a toilet paper, I found light pink color on that. Is that what is refered to as spotting? Can anyone please advise?

11 weeks pregnant. Heavy flow of red blood like a normal heavy period. Slight sharp pain in lower abdomin. No backache. When it started, I filled up one pad in ten min. scared to go to doctor to hear bad news, but I will go anyway.

I was 10 weeks and still detecting no (external) heartbeat, then started spotting. Midwife thought it was a miscarriage, but it wasn't, and my pregnancy continued normally. My son is 14 months old now! TTC #2 soon. God bless you all and I will pray for your health and calmness.

I thought everything would be okay, but i miscarried wednesday evening . I just want to tell women that if you fear it, go to a doctor or even get a second opinion. it is such a painful thing to go through. I know it just wasnt my time. God still needed my little angel up in heaven , and i know he will send him back to me. Thanks for all the prayer, and i hope everyone goes on to have a beautiful baby.... GOD BLESS

hello, thanks for sharing all of your stories. I am 12 weeks pregnant and first had spotting at 10 weeks which lasted for about a week. The ultrasound found a very small pool of blood indicating a separation in the membrane between the gestational sac and the uterine wall. I'm considered at risk for miscarriage because the separation will either heal or get bigger, and if it gets bigger the baby won't be able to survive. I hadn't been bleeding for the past 5 days and then just started again last night. It's always brought on when I have to strain for a bowel movement. Right at that moment it's bright red on the tissue and then light pink or brown for the days that follow (that's where I am now). It sounds like "H" and "Kerri" had similar problems of bleeding at 12 weeks so I'd love to hear an update. I am scheduled for another ultrasound in a little over a week, not sure I want to wait that long since the bleeding started again. I must admit, yesterday was a stressful day and I had to go up and down stairs at work a lot and ended up having to run to chase my 2 year old who was running across the parking lot -- so all that activity probably brought it on. Trying to take it easy and not worry. At 11 weeks the baby looked very healthy and active. Thanks for listening!

I am also 8 weeks pregnant and the last two days had pinkish spotting occsly when i wiped and began having mild abdominal cramping. Went to emerg - told cervix mouth closed, blood levels good and have u/s on Monday - it's nerve racking - but comforting to read others with similar stories - thankx.

Hi - November 14

I am only 17 and expecting our first child. After a lot of stress about teling the family we decided that to keep our baby is the best option as a dont believe in abortion anyway. We are so excited and cant wait and we have all the support we need off both families although, I have a few spots of pinkish dishcharge and a red clot last thursday. I went and had a scan on Fri and an internal but nothing was there and we are so scared we have another scan on Friday its just a waiting game this week we just want Star to be ok we so badley dont want her to go. Plz give me some reasurance i dont no how to cope all i seem to do is cry!!!

I'm 12 weeks pregnant, regardless if the doctor says I am. My doctor seems to have to idea stuck in his head that no pregnancy test could be wrong - meaning it said negative so there is no way in hell I could possibly be pregnnat. I am positive that I am, and I'm sticking to that, waiting for more test results to come back...and well last night I started to bleed slightly, not the menstrual type of bleeding, but rather two small red blood clots, other then freaking out a little after that, there has been no pain or anything else....any ideas people? I started spotting slight pink and brown (only when I wipe) about a week ago, and that stopped immediately, but these blood clots have me a little worried....unfortunately as I've already told you, my doctor is obviously a nit-wit....so I really don't wanna go back quite yet.....thanks for any help you might have.

Kt - November 15

I'm 7 weeks. I had similar symptoms, and my doctor told me that it's okay if it's brownish or light in color. But if it's bright red that it could be a miscarriage.
