You are not having normal signs of pregnancy. I am sorry you are scared BUT I promise that people will understand how you feel. Go to the ONE person that you trust and get an over the counter test. Your symptoms if pregnancy are signs of complications. You should really talk to one person that you can trust. PLUS clinics like planned parenthood can help you pay min. payments or SMALL monthly installments. YOU SHOULD get checked out either way. Look in the yellow pages for a planned paretnhood, they are there to help people like you! Good Luck and I wish I was there to help:-) If you are pregnant, there are many options so don't worry! I have 3 30 year old friend who would DIE to have children so please consider adoption IF you are pregnant....

I am 8 weeks pregnant and I am having light pink discharge sometimes even brown. But my doctor said not to worry and when I had my ultrasound this past week my two babies were fine. I recently had a miscarriage so the discharge kinda makes me worry but after the ultrasound I am kinda at ease but sometimes still wish the discharge would just go away.

I had the very same thing happen to me and I hate to bring it to you but it is very possible to be an early miscarriage, Only my back pain was very severe. Definately see you obgyn asap.

Relieved that i'm not the only one who's experienced this! I am currently 11 weeks pregnant and had an "episode" of light spotting (reddish/brownish) that lasted about 3 days. I was incredibly worried and upset as I thought (even though I am a nurse myself) that I was losing the baby. After speaking with my midwife, I was rea__sured. I found out that although not 100% "normal", spotting can indicate several things - including v____al or cervical infection, or trauma to the cervix following s_xual intercourse or a v____al examination. My midwife told me not to worry and to rest up. All the best for the future...

I am 36 and has just found out that i am pregnant for the 3rd time this year. I about about 5 weeks. My two previous pregnancies both ended when i was about 6 weeks. In both cases i had bad cramps for a few hours followed by heavy bleeding. Two days ago i noticed a light brown staining on my underwear but there was no cramps or pain until my husband and i went out shopping when i started experiencing mild cramp like sensations. Within hours it felt like a sharp pain on the left side of my abdomen. Since i was bloated i thought the pain might have been a__sociated with gas or something i ate from the mall. I had no sign of bleeding but to ease my mind i decided to take a third hpt until I could set an appointment to see my doctor next week. My test still showed positive but it was very faint nothing like the first 2 test that i took. My last 2 visits to the bathroom today i noticed small traces of blood and a small blood clot. I guess i want so much to believe that this time everything will turn out fine since i have not experienced any heavy bleeding and cramping like the last 2 times. Is there anyone out there that has had similar experiences and how has things turned out for you? Thanks in advance, DesperateMag

I am now 6 months after spotting from weeks 5 to 11 in my pregnancy. It was a very distressing time - I just want those of you who are experiencing the same to know that it can be a two way outcome. (I've also spotted in a previous pregnancy and lost it at 9 weeks) I hope you find strength to just hold on until that certainty or clarification of what's going on comes around. Week 12 is a good milestone in terms of viability. I wish you strength and support wherever you are. It's tough, I've been there and there's hope at the other end. If not this time, then next time. All the best for this time of year and may God and Jesus bless.

Hello all, I guess I have come here looking for some solace. I'm 6 weeks pregnant. Yesterday I spotted very light pink then nothing. I phoned a nurse who told me to take it easy, of the causes she suggested, physical excercise (shoveling snow) was the only one that fit me. It's too late to be inplantation bleeding. I took the nurse's advice and stayed in and relaxed. Today, after a 10 minute walk (if that) I noticed brown spotting discharge, more than yesterday. I've also been having mild period-like cramps, but have understood that these are common with pregnancies. Any wise words? I'm very far from home and husband for the next two weeks and feel a little lost at sea while trying to remain positive.

All I can say after being through this is... so not beat yourself up... you did nothing.... PLUS this is more common than I think people say and you may be just fine.... So try not to worry... When do oyu go to the doctor? They should repeat blood test every other day foir 3 days. If the numbers souble, then you should feel pretty good. If not, then you know something may be funny. BUT I would not worry about that:-)

Hi there, thanks for that. I went to the doctor and got an ultrasound. They told me that there was no heart and it was, in his words 'miniscule'...so they believe that I am less pregnant that what I thought by about two-three weeks! I'm as regular as clock-work and I'm 100% sure of when I had the first day of my last period. But maybe this doesn't matter? How odd...ever heard of this before?

To Ab - January 9

No heartbeat? Was there a fetal pull? When will they check again? Not to scare you but when you go back, remeber that this is a mircle and not science. If there is still no beat, remember that the baby was too unhealthy to live and that it would be worse to have such a sick baby. I am SURE all is well, but that is what heppened to me... I went in the 2nd time and they said there was still no beat and called it a blighted ovum. I did not think that could happen and I was SHOCKED!

I am now 7 weeks 4 days along. I started bleeding heavily at 6 weeks 3 days for 2 days. Went to the emergency room and ended up spending 9 hours. I had a pelvic ultrasound done but was not given the results other than I was still pregnant. I was instructed to see my doctor the very same day. I sat in the doc's office for 3 hours to get in to see her. She informed me that I have a subchroinic bleed and that the embryo sac also has blood and debris in it. I was put on baby aspirin to see if my blood would thin out and pa__s what ever I could. She said the out come did not look good. I went for a blood test today to see if my hcg levels have increased. I also have an appointment for thursday for another pelvic ultrasound. I fear the worse. I do however wish you all the best and pray for a excellent outcome. When in doubt, go to the doctors. Remember you can request a pelvic ultrasound to help calm you nerves and let you know more about what's going on inside your body. Get lots of rest and take care.

I have never posted anything on one of these sites, but I am having serious concerns. I am almost 15 weeks pregnant and my husband of 2 years left me for another woman 3 days ago. Needless to say the stress, lack of eating, and sleeping is taking its toll on me. I have lost 5 lbs and have begun to spot. I had a v____al exam that indicated some bleeding from the cervix but the ultrasound showed good and I did hear the babies heart beat. It is only when I wipe and for the most part remains dark in color. I think that this is stress related and I know that I need to stay focused on my baby.. it is just hard. I feel very alone and scared. Anyone out there had bleeding at this stage or what they believe to be stress related? My doctor does not seem worried.. however he has indicated that if it is the sign of a miscarriage there is nothing he can really do..? Is this true or should I seek another opinion? Please help!!
