I have never posted anything on one of these sites, but I am having serious concerns. I am almost 15 weeks pregnant and my husband of 2 years left me for another woman 3 days ago. Needless to say the stress, lack of eating, and sleeping is taking its toll on me. I have lost 5 lbs and have begun to spot. I had a v____al exam that indicated some bleeding from the cervix but the ultrasound showed good and I did hear the babies heart beat. It is only when I wipe and for the most part remains dark in color. I think that this is stress related and I know that I need to stay focused on my baby.. it is just hard. I feel very alone and scared. Anyone out there had bleeding at this stage or what they believe to be stress related? My doctor does not seem worried.. however he has indicated that if it is the sign of a miscarriage there is nothing he can really do..? Is this true or should I seek another opinion? Please help!!

I am about 6 1/2 weeks pregnant with my first baby and I have been spotting for about 2 weeks now. It has only been brown in color and very light. It stopped for about 2 days and then started again yesterday. I had an u/s about a week ago but the only thing they could see was the sac. They said it was too early to really tell. I have another one scheduled for a week from today, which seems like forever. I have been reading so many different things but they are all different. Most of them say it is normal but then you find that one that says it is a sign of miscarriage. Any advice or comforting words would be greatly appreciated.

Just know that you did nothing wrong and if the Baby is HEALTHY it will make it. There is nothing that you did wrong.

This is my first pregnancy and I'm very excited as all of you must be. I think I am 8 weeks pregnancy, that is what I've gotten from the online calendars anyway. I don't have my first doctors appointment till the 26 of Jan. I have had a lot of lower back pain so far, almost from the get go. But I always just a__sume it's my uncomfortable futon couch that I fall asleep on constantly and then go to a soft mattress at night. Or because Im an avid exerciser, 5 days a week. Anyway this morning I woke up like usual with my back pain and went to the washroom. When I wiped I noticed a pinkish tinge on the toilet paper. Almost like when you're just starting your period or finishing your period. So of course in the panic that I am, Im on that toilet whenever possible to check. The bleeding faded right out to a light brownish colour to very very faint, like you have to really be looking. But I can't help but wonder what is going on? Of course it's on a Sunday when no one in there right mind wants to talk to you. So I sit here and read all the posts, and hope for the best till tomorrow when I can call my doctor. It does sound normal from what you all say, it seems very few of the posts resulted in a miscarriage. But why bleeding at all. I don't know, it's very scary, I hope it will be all right for myself and all of you that are hoping for the best for the little one in your tummy. ~C

I had an amnio around 16 wks. I found red blood when I wiped after going to the toilet 5 hours later. The doctor told me to go in immediately and he said my cervix dilated about 45mm and asked me to go back in 4 days later. He put me on terbutaline every 4 hours to avoid the contraction. On the 3rd day I found some brownish only when I wiped. When we went in after 4 days the doctor told us that I have a placenta previa and should continue bedrest for another 2 weeks while taking the medication. Now is the 9th day and I started seeing brownish 3 times when I wiped after going to the toilet. Has anyone encountered the similar incidence before? Please advise if this is normal.

I am 11weeks pregnant and woke up this morning with some spotting when I wiped, no pain or cramps. It was red in colour with some brown discharge towards the end. I have had nothing for the rest of the day. I called in to see my midwife this morning who asked me to keep an eye on it. I also have my nueral translucency scan (Down Syndrome test) on Thursday so I'm praying all will be ok. Has this happened to anyone else as I have had a misscarriage before at 6 weeks and it was nothing like this. Help anyone

Hi, I had spotting through the 9th week!!! I was a reck and nervous. BUT now I am fat and 16 weeks prego! Doc said it happens??

well ladies try not to worry so so much i had the spotting also for about 2 weeks when i was 6 weeks prego and i am know 27 weeks prego so it all depends on your bodys.... just keep god in mind and try not to worrie it makes it worse

I am a week pregnant and today i went to the restroom and a little bit of blood came out. Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

my wife is prenant 12 weeks and she peed and the was a blood clot about the size of a half dollar doctor said to rest for herrr just nevuose and corius if anyone had same problem

I am 6 weeks pregnant and had dark brown discharge on friday, then have had very light brown since. It comes and goes, today is the third day. I'm really scared because although they say it may be implantation bleeding, I should have implanted 2 weeks ago. I'm even more nervous because I had a miscarriage a few months ago. It started out with light bleeding (but it was bright red), then eventually turned into a miscarriage. I hope this time it's different. Good Luck to everyone.

I am in the same exact situation as inginity who posted last on here. spotting started thursday afternoon as light brown, and has been on and off, not consistent, since then. I called the dr. and am having an u/s on wed but i'm not waiting very patiently until then. Im about 6 and a half weeks...

I am 15 weeks pregnant & have been spotting lightly (brown) for a week now...I went to my ob/gyn last week & the E.R. over the weekend. The heart beat is strong (155) & my cervix is closed up tight so we're not sure what's going on...no cramping & no red blood, just the light brown stuff. Ihave my 2/3D u/s scheduled for Feb. 2nd-my Dr. says we will know more then... In the meantime-limited activity & no s_xual intercourse for me. It's scary not knowing what's going on!

i have been experiencing what seems to be a very light period, started four days earlier than my period normally should...not enough blood to go through a tampon...is this spotting? how much do you normally bleed when you're spotting?
