Ultrasound Early In Pregnancy

i'm unsure of how far along i am. i had a miscarriage in august and have not had a period since. which not unusual. i had a postive blood test 11/23/04 went to the doctor
the followin mon. she had me do an utlra sound and they did not see anything she stated it may be to early or could be an eptopic pregnancy how early should you be able to see the baby and should i worry until my next ultrasound 12-6/04 no bleeding or cramping involved

With u/s you probably wont see a sac until at least your 5th week...maybe your 4th...unknowing how far along you are is going to be tough for the next few weeks...good luck to you...and let us know how it goes

I had a miscarriage in Aug as well, no period until end of November and they put me on 5 day regiman of Progesterone to kick start my period which it did

went and had my ultrasound mon it showed a fluid sac but they still can't role out a tubial pregancy so they want to do another one on friday plus some lab work to make sure everything is ok everyone just praythat it is thanks

wow, they suggested a possible ectopic but didn't do tests to make sure it wasn't an ectopic? i think most doctors/hospitals are trained to take ectopics seriously..
also, you mentioned you had apos blood test on the 23rd, then got a u/s? you would barely see anything, so its ok. if you go back on the 8th-10th week you will see it very well. rightnow you need to figure out if the egg has implanted into the uterine lining.. from there its safe.
