ok so i got my merina IUD 5 weeks ago and i had my first af 4 weeks ago logically i thought i would get my next one around now. On the 14th i started to spot well it was more than spotting but not enough to need a pad or tampon a pantie liner worked just fine anyways that lasted about 5 days then stoped was that my period? or is my body just still out of wack i am2.5 months pp and input is welcome

Hi Maren, that light spotting you had does sound like it was your period - the Mirena does make you period lighter, and it can even go away after a while. I have had 2 periods since I got my Mirena, and they were both very light too, the 2nd one was lighter that the 1st. I wouldn't expect your periods to be real regular yet either with just having a baby and getting the IUD.
