I am 8 mos. pregnant with my second baby, and I had a flat stomach before and after my first child, but I have these awful stretch marks now..... I know I can get my belly back to being flat (well, maybe not as flat as it was before but i can wish, ;) ) but I was wondering, will my stretch marks tan so I can wear my bikini again? Does any one know any tricks to fade them so they aren't so purple?

Hi, I have lots of stetch marks as well, and I find tanning does help them go away a little not alot but a little, I put cover up and tanner over top of them if I want to wear a bikini.

Hey NO NO NO NO NO!!!!! I talked to a plastic surgeon about stretch marks when I was in the hospital getting my c-section st_tches. They said to try my best not to let them get hit with sun because they will become permanent.

They're permenant anyway Lily. Alichild - From what I've been told/ seen on others, you're pretty much stuch with them, but they will fade and become far less noticeable over time. I'm 6 months pp, and mine are now pale pink rather than purple. They'll eventually go silvery. They will tan, but will never look the same as the skin surrounding them.
