My daughter is almost 5 months old and while I was still pregnant, hubby had to cut my wedding rings off since they were hurting my finger so much. we took them to the jeweler the next day to get repaired. I still cannot put them on. He just bought me a beautiful ring for mothers day with our daughters birthstone and had it engraved and I have to wear it on my pinkie which is annoying. I don't know weather to get all my rings re-sized or wait. Has anyone gone thru this and what did you do? Did your hands ever go back to their original size? thanks.

Uh-oh, I don't like the sound of that. Sorry--can't help you because my daughter is only 3 1/2 weeks old, but I can't wear my rings either. I thought it would only take a week or 2 for them to go back to their original size once the water weight came off, but they don't seem to be shrinking at all.

I am sorry never had that problem kept my rings on the whole time maybe you gained extra weight and it was not just water gain are you still bigger than before you got pregnant? Some women never go back to their original size maybe that is what is going on you should take to your doctor about that good luck
