hi, i think feeling sad is normal for some people.my baby is 5 months old and for the first 6 weeks or so after i had him i used to cry everyday & i didn't know why, i knew i loved my son so much & wanted to give him everything but it didn't change how i was,it was especially bad when i was b___stfeeding.i know it's hard to pretend everything is all right around others but ithink if u could talk to a friend or someone about it it might help release some tension.believe me it does get alot better.i'm as happy as could be now.it will pa__s.

Ca__s, I'm feeling for you. I had this with my first two. I used to cry in front of everyone and even on the phone. It should go away in a few weeks. If not, talking with your doctor will probably help you figure out what you can do about it. Maybe you can give yourself a time line- like- if you're not feeling better by so many weeks, you'll seek help. That way it won't seem like you are holding out for an indefinite period of time. I was afraid that burden would stay with my for the rest of my life, but it doesn't. Also, if you have a lot of anxiety (more than you think you should w/ a new baby) it may be turning to PPD, which is what I eventually found out I had and was put on antidepressants in the last month of my third pregnancy (and didn't have any of it w/ the third). More than likely it's a bad case of "baby blues" though. As ren05 said, "It does get alot better."

Have them over - company helps. I have gone through the same thing and getting out - to a store - does help.
