I had a va___al birth Jan 29th and my doctor didn't really give me any restrictions. He said some people have s_x when they feel up to it after a va___al birth. I had a 1st degree tear and all of the st_tches are completely healed by now. i was just wondering if/when you all had s_x after a va___al birth. I know it's only been 3 weeks, but I'm sure all of you moms know that you need SOMETHING to take the edge off! Thanks Ladies!

i waited the 6 weeks afterwards, i had a second degree small tear that required only a few stiches. it didnt hurt at all..it just felt a lot tighter at first gettin but after that it was fine.

With my last DD I wiated 4 weeks after birth.

I gave in to my husband after 4 week and I had a tiny tear that had healed but I was not comfortable and then we waited til almost 8 weeks postpartum - it didn't feel the same for me for a few months and because my tear was up by my urethra I didnt' achieve orgasm for a good 6 months after -just be careful and don't rush...I mean if you are really looking forward to it go for it but listen to your body! You go girl! lol

girl, i was the one who couldnt wait...lol of course me and james are freaks so we already had all kinds of lube.... which you may need..btw. it was a bit uncomfortable for me each time its gets a bit better he says its different, which makes me feel good cause to me she had a huge head,,lol just be careful and stop if it hurts is what my doc said... ttyl

i hear alot of women say that it is tighter after the st_tches heal, why is that?? my hubby says that from his experience with women it is very loose after they have a v____al birth. does anyone know?

i dont know but with me it feels tighter...but i think maybe just from the st_tches? im curious why too!

my husband said he can't believe I had 2 kids v____ally cuz I am as tight as a 16 year old so I guess we are freaks too....LOL

Yah, so I ended up giving in to my crazy hormones at 2 wks, LOL. It all went fine though and at my appt my doc said that my st_tches and everything healed great, so I guess it didn't do any damage. I'm a lot tighter now too.. 2 v____al births later and my cooch is tighter than before both births, LOL..Crazy how that works.

LOL Cors1, Ithought I would be screwed after this birth because he was 8+ lbs with a 15in head, but all is good.. You'll be fine! And s_x after a v____al birth isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I heard terrible things, but WHEW...
