First of all, Hi, I'm new here. I'm 25 years old, just had my 3rd child. I've been on the Depo shot on and off since I was 14. After having my 3rd child I went ahead and got it again before being discharged from the hospital. I also br___tfed for about 2 1/2 months. I bled for about 10 weeks and stopped for about a whole week and started right back up again. I had my child on June 20th of last year and I continued to bleed until November when I started having large frequent clots for a few days. My doctor gave me a D&C in Dec. and said it should help. The results from that showed that different parts of my uterus were in different stages of a period, that's why I was constantly bleeding and he thought it was from the Depo shot and the procedure should have helped. But, I continued to bleed and in February I was switched to the Mirena IUD and was told it may help, it may not. Now, two months later, I'm still bleeding and my daughter will be 10 months old in a few days! I'm calling him tomorrow, but I was just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience.
