Vagina Post Partum Weird

I am 3 weeks post-partum and after delivering my 8Ibs 4 oz little girl I had some internal tears. My doc st_tched up one side cuz she said it wouldn't stop bleeding, which is normal (I am a labor nurse and I see this alot from many docs) but now 3 weeks later I am concerned because my va___a looks foreign to me. One side of my inner labia looks longer than the other because it was not st_tched like the other. Plus my va___al opening looks like a ball or bulb of skin right below it. I am concerned my labia is going to be uneven and that bulb is never going away? I never see post-partum women, this soon post-partum so I a not sure what's normal. I went to the doc 1 week post partum with this concern and she said it looks good and it would all heal normally but I am still concerned? Any thoughts?

I didnt have any tears but I do hav eht ball or bulb of skin under the opening too. I think it was like that when I had my other 2 also. I hope it goes away.

My girlfriend swears to me that everything goes back to normal.....eventually! I told her that I was alarmed at the state of my dainty bits and she told me not to panic. She was in the same state but after two babies says things are 100% back to normal!

I had an internal tear on my inner labia also, only one side though.. they didnt st_tch it and (this is my 2nd baby) i was really concerned it wasnt going to heal the same as the other side, but they wouldnt st_tch it, they swore it would heal fine. I al also 3wks pp and its healing up pretty good, but that side is a little longer now, and has a little bump where it ripped pretty good. Oh well.. im so glad i didnt have an episiotomy this time, the recovery is 100% better than that c___p!

Hey , this is off the topic but I have been looking to to a career as a labor nurse since my first son was born eight years ago. Problem is, I feel I am getting to old. I would love if you could answer some questions I have. Mainly about age of the nurses and when they went to school. I know the schooling is a gruelling process and am curious if this field is worth all the hard work and if older women are still considered a valuable a__set.
