My son will be a month next Tuesday and I'm still bleeding from having the c-section. Does anyone know when this bleeding will end? It's not heavy but it's getting annoying! I've heard you can bleed for 6 weeks after. Thanks!

I had a c-section Jan 10 and recently stopped bleeding. I bled pretty consistently for at least 7 weeks, and spotted some off and on until recently. Then last week I got an IUD so I'm back to bleeding. Everyone thinks an advantage of pregnancy is not having a period for so long, but you pay for it later! I also wasn't expecting the bleeding to last very long because I didn't have a v____al birth- but not so...

i am still bleeding as well, but the color has recently changed from red to brown-red to now almost a yellowish color. Did you ladies experience this as well? It still has some pinkish streaks as well. Im 3 weeks postpartum and also recovoering from a c-section. Its nice to be able to talk to other women who are going thru the same things i am :). Ive also heard you can spot up to 6 weeks!

Miamiloca, I stopped bleeding at around 5 & 1/2 weeks (I'm 6 & 1/2 weeks now). It did change color towards the end a bit. I'm interested to see when I'll get AF again! How are you feeling? I'm pretty much back to normal except for the buldge! lol

I am three weeks post partum and have lightened up to occasional spotting for the past few days. I think I am finished with it and then it'll spot. It was a v____al delivery...

I had a c-section a month ago and I stopped bleeding 4 days ago....But then I had s_x and now I'm spotting agian. I didnt even know you were supposed to bleed until it was happening. There is not enough information out there about the ugly side of pregnancy.

krnj--im feeling a lil more "normal" now--but still tire easily. Now im just dealing with my poor lil sons problems. Poor lil guy has had stuffy nose to the point of where he cant hardly eat, a blocked tear duct, and now major gas! I feel so sorry for him, i dont have time to focus on myself. Anyone have any advice for me?

im thinking of trying Gentlease formula. Its supposed to be really good. I thought about trying soy too but ive heard negative things about it. Ive also heard Nutramigen is good or Carnation good start. So Ill try one of these and let you know. I cant stand to see my lil guy in pain anymore :(

Well I'm preg with my 3rd and the first two were vag. delivery so I knew about the bleeding because I did for about 2-3 wks. but never asked if u still have bleeding with c-section. So u have to deal with the pain of c-section and bleeding. I hope this one will be vag. delivery as well. Good Luck to all.

My son is 5 weeks old and we have had tear duct problems too. The nurse told me to put my clean finger on the inside corner of his eye, make 3 or 4 small circles then draw the finger down against the side of his nose. Do it 4 times aday. It clears up usually the same day and will come back days later. Doc said to do it everyday and most kids stop having problems by 9 months. Good luck! We're having bad gas problems this last week too. I'd love to know what ya'll find out. I'm waiting for a doc. call back. I think mine may have reflux...??????????
