I b___st fed my daughter as much as I could until I went back to work. Then pumping was such an inconvienience. I never had the uncomfortable feeling you describe. I think it was because I weaned myself off of b___stfeeding. I would just pump until I was not quite empty, and the next time I would make less milk, and so on and so forth. Also, a warm wet washcloth will draw enough milk out to make you comfortable, yet busty. :-)

I just had my baby on Valentine's Day..my milk strated to come in about 2/3 days ago...my Dr. recommended COLD green cabbage leaves in my bra...change every 2 hours and do this for 72 hours...works great!

I was in your same predicament and tired of hearing about cabbage leaves and frozen vegetables. Some people even suggested pumping which only increases the demand and therefore has your body producing MORE milk. My lactation consultant finally suggested a real product to me. The Lama Bra. This is a real answer and has helped me through the hurdles of engorgement pain. Good luck.

I wore two tight bras around the clock and I NEVER even leaked! It dried up in no time, worked great!
