Hello.
We had our baby late August. My wife has since been having problems with her stomach. Frequent diarrhea. If there's a trigger, we haven't figured out what. This was non existent before and during pregnancy.
Anyone else have or heard of this? The doc did not know what it was. Asked her to take Lactobacillus. Doesn't work. We are going back soon. But would like to know if there are others out there.
Thank you!

Maybe she has developed irritable bowel syndrome? Try the B.R.A.T. diet. Bananas, rice, apples sauce and toast (dry). If it is going to work you should see improvement in about two days. If this doesn't work then I would really have a stool sample tested for bacteria. There are a lot of different illnesses that can cause diarreah. When I was 22 I had C-deficile, the doctor took two weeks to diagnose and it almost killed me, litterally. It could be that or shigella or salmonella or a host of other infections. I don't want to freak you out, just be pro-active about her healthcare. She knows her body better than anyone and if she is that uncomfortable then something is wrong. Good luck!

My daughter had sever pain and diarrhea after giving birth to her daughter. My daughter had a c section and was given antibiotics. We had a difficult time diagnosing her problem, but it turned out to be C Diff. We had to ask the doctor if it could be C Diff before they tested her for it.
