Okay, I know my hair started falling out when I was pregnant with my daughter, but I don't remember how long it lasted! Any body else going through this? My son is 5 months old today, and my hair has been coming out in clumps! Its starting to alarm me, because how can I loose this much hair? At the rate I am going I wont have any hair left in a month!

My hair stylist told me to expect my hair to fall out when my baby is about 6 months. She recommended I cut my hair shorter around then otherwise I'd be seeing lots of my long hair everywhere. She didn't tell me how long it lasts but she did warn me that this could happen. My baby is only 6 weeks old so we'll see what happens.

My son is 3 months old and I am starting to lose my hair. It was a very sudden and noticeable change.

My hair is falling out..or shall I say has been since the end of my pregnancy. Its grosses me out because its everywhere, kitchen, dishes, floors, babies bottle nipple, sewn inbetween the thread of our laundry......its driven me crazy theres so much of my hair all over the place.

My baby is 3 months and the hair loss is getting disgusting. It is literally everywhere! clumps of it. I am sure I will be bald in a month at this rate. Lets see what happens.

well.....my hair is still falling out and in an alarming rate! though I am not hairless yet, but its really becoming noticable around my scalp line on my forehead....yikes I just want to know how long it will continue.

Hi ashley, My son is 4 1/2 months old and at 3 months pp my hair was falling out everywhere, It was all over the place and when i took a shower it was the worst i would have big clumps coming out. Now its still coming out but has majorly subsided thank goodness. Around my hairline by my forehead it looks like im going bald so i cant really wear my hair up. I went to my family doctor just to do bloodwork to make sure there is nothing really wrong and then he sent me to a thyroid dr but that checked out ok then off to the dermatoligist i went and I am fine just one of the unfortunate mothers who loose hair after childbirth. Now though I have all short hairs sprouting all over my head it looks so funny, so its in the regrowth stage now i guess. Hope i helped some.
