Hi everyone- I had my second c section two weeks ago. Sometime in the hospital i developed a staph infection and HORRIBLE pain in my right side from about two inches in from my hip bone, aroud to my spine and down my back, abdomen and hip. My incision is healing really weird. The left side looks ok, a little open but everything is pretty flat and stuff-- the right side is really puffy above the cut. The doc says it's normal. He also didn't want to believe that I had an infection until the culture came back that said staph... FRUSTRATED and sore. Why is my right side so sore? Any one have anything similar?? I'm from Maui, Hawaii and our prenatal/postpartum care leaves something to be desired-- ONE hopspital on the island, not alot of options. Thanks to anyone who may be able to shed some light on this. My forst c section was so easy! I was functioning by 2 weeks. Help!
