Why Don T I Like My Husband Anymore

During my pregnancy we had the best relationship ever. He was so suppotive and helpful in so many ways. My baby is now 7 weeks old (I also have 2 other children) He has slowly started to go back to having his own life again. Do I resent him for this? It has gotten to the point where I don't even want him to touch me. This scares me.

It sounds like you may be feeling resentful of his freedom while you are so tied down. I have a boyfriend and a daughter and I learned that I have to come out and tell my man to watch her. Guys are not like women, they will not ask "hey would you like me to watch the kids tonight (and forgo his night with vid games, the boys, etc) and let you have some time to yourself?" It will NEVER happen. I got very resentful of mine because I always had to take care of our daughter while he got to go out. Now I tell him "hey you are watching her Friday night so I can go have dinner with a friend." This really helped out our relationship. Don't let it become 1-sided where you do everything. It's not fair and unfortunately many men will get away with what you let them get away with. I hope this helps you, it sure helped me.
