Am I getting enough excersize? I am 8 weeks. I go for a mile walk with my husband after supper everynight, then I drop him off and go for another brisk mile walk with my dog. In the mornings I stretch. But that is it. This is the same routine I had before being pg, except that I also did another mile in the morning, and some yoga and the Ab-Doer. I have gained 4 lbs so far and I don't want to over do it with the weight gain, but then I don't want to over do with excersice either.

Before I was pregnant I walked for 40mins most days at a fast pace. I have continued to walk for 40mins for 4-5 days a week up to week 28 , I am now cutting down to 2-3 days because my baby gainning weight a little slow.
So far I have gained the recomended weight for 28 weeks ( based on my pre pregnancy weight and height , I am tall)
I have put on 21.16 pounds ( 9.6 kg )
I hope to put on around 33 pounds ( 15 Kg) At this stage I sould be putting on around 1.10 pounds ( 500 grams) a week.
It is best to avoid abb excersize once the baby reaches the top of the pubic bone. After 4 Mths avoid exersizing on your back.
I think it is wonderful that you walk with you partner eeach night, mine is too tired in the afternoons ( after work) to come with me.
