Okay, I'm 31 and in my fourth pregnancy. I have always gained a good 45-60 lbs and lost it before I got pregnant again. But this one is different. I couldn't get down to my pre-preggy weight. So here I am, 20 lbs past my "normal" weight feeling a bit depressed and I haven't even been pregnant for more than a month. Yes, ONE MONTH. I was six months along in my last pregnancy when I was this heavy! I'm afraid I'm going to be severly depressed this pregnancy. When I'm depressed, I eat. That's my biggest problem. And yes, I do work out 3 times a week . . . How can I keep myself from being so discouraged?

Yes, I'm on my fourth pregnancy and due in just 1 week. I gained a lot at the beginning of this pregnancy because I felt much more nauseaus this time. But, the last month I've lost a little bit of weight actually. Try to stay encouraged and keep working out. That made me feel great. Also, take advantage of the fresh summer fruits and veggies as opposed to the chocolate that we really crave! Good Luck! It will all be worth it. (-:

i'm 37 and in my fourth (unplanned) pregnancy. I gain a good 60 pounds (plus) every time. I finally got within 10 pounds of my pre-pregnancy weight and whammo -- pregnant. again! I did the depression thing last round -- but you're already far ahead of me -- the exercise is key! It fights depression too. BTW, try that 6 day body makeover thing after the baby -- i swear it works. Water, water, water. Crunchy veggies and know, most of the depression stuff is hormones. I'm only 6 weeks along, but already feeing those ups and downs too.

I am 33 and on my fith pregnancy(my last one ended in miscarriage) and have not lost all my weight either. All I can say is try to have a good att_tude and realize that this weight doesn't last forever..I know its hard because I have a hard time too. I feel so fat ALL the time! However, I know as soon as I get through this pregnancy I am going to MAKE SURE I diet and work out..maybe even EVERY DAY! If I have the time!!!!

hi jennifer, i am also pregnant with baby#4 ,almost 5 months and i am starting to look like a whale! my best friend is also pregnant with #4 and she can`t believe how much she is showing so soon! everyone thinks shes about to have the baby but shes has 3 months to go yet!! the truth is when it it comes to the 4th time around you do tend to pop or show sooner! i felt the baby moving at 9 weeks which is unbelievable!!! the only problem is the fact that our bodies are older now and we have three other children to look after, so its normal to feel more tired and achy i think . i am just enjoying it and trying not to stress about the weight. i will walk it off once the baby is out!! but many people agree that the fourth pregnancy is very different then the rest! goodluck to you and your pregnancy.
