Hi,
Does anyone know if you can use an elliptical machine to excercise (at a slower rate of speed) in your first and second trimesters?

I use the elliptical twice a week. My doctor says that is a great form of exercise, but I need to make sure that I am holding on to the side rails for balance. I am 17 weeks and used it during my first and now in my second trimester.

My doctor said exercise moderately, not like you used to do, you have to maintain your heart rate alot lower that you normally would, I use the eliptical, just go a lot slower and I too am in my first trimester.
