I am 6 months pregnant, and I am putting most of my weight on in my thighs and rear. I hate it so does anyone know some exercise I can do while still prego? I walk my dog everyday at least 30 min, so that isnt really helping. Please help with any suggestions.

Walking is fabulous. What about water aerobics? Sometimes all the exercise in the world can't affect your body chemistry--that just may be where you tend to gain (along with the rest of us). Know that this, too, shall pa__s and that the weight gain is temporary (and useful)!

Lunges, lunges, lunges!! Since you're pg, you'll have to space your legs apart to the sides a bit to help with balance. Squats will probably be too hard to do with a belly pulling you down. It will take a couple weeks (doing them 3 X's weekly), but you'll see results.
Good Luck!

I believe you loose your shape in your thigh and rear regardless. I was a triathlete before I got pregnant and now I look like I have been bingeing on cottage cheese, but to keep some of the tone I bought Denise Austin Fit Pregnancy and I religiously do squats lunges and other exercises. I also walk on the beach with requires more strenght than the street and if there is no beach try walking on semi tall gra__s.

Squats are great! I do squats with 3lb weights, and they feel great! They also help with stretching your inner thigh area, and easing the soreness in that area too. I've been sore in that area since around my 24th week, and the doc. said it's stretching in preparation for birth.
