Hi,
Yesterday i mowed my lawn which is quiet strenuous as it is a big and hilly lawn. I felt fine doing it , not too tired etc. I then rushed around doing cleaning etc once i had finished my chores i took a shower whilst in the shower i started to experience cramps and then i suddenly fainted. I ended up going to bed early and feel fine today. Do you think anything is wrong? Could this mean an impending miscarriage?

Hi Becks-From what I've read, dizziness is a common part of pregnancy (so are cramps, as my body can attest to). According to one of my books, as your uterus grows, it compresses your arteries and traps blood in your legs, which causes your blood pressure to drop quickly (hence the fainting). If you feel the sensation coming on again, you're supposed to sit & shake your legs to regain circulation. Maybe if the cramps were really bad or if you have seen any bleeding, call a doctor? Seems like we have a lot of weird things going on with our bodies, eh?

I get dizzy a lot too, but I noticed that it only happens when I am trying to get a lot of stuff done like you were doing. I think the whole dizzy feeling is just our bodies telling us to take it easy :)

Becks--your body was just trying to tell you to take it easy. Also, make you stay hydrated! I'm sure you're fine, but call your doctor for rea__surance.
