Okay so I own an elliptical machine.. .I really nice one so its not clumsy like those cheap ones out there that can seen tipsy,so I am comfortable getting on it while pregnant. My question is.. how do you motivate yourselves to exercise..? I have a 15 month old already and he keeps me on my toes.. I just entered the second trimester and I am always sooooo tired.. My son goes to sleep around 730 or so.. I always plan to get on my elliptical and work out even for 10 minutes.. I get on the thing and get so demotivated and depressed because I have no energy to keep going yet I am gaining weight in ALL the wrong places.. not to mention all the weight that was left behind from my first pregnancy... UGH. its totally effecting my love life as well as my moods when I think about it.. I understand what happens to your body when you get pregnant.. But JEEZ how can some women just bounce back into these beautiful bodies and others are stuck with saggy stretchmarked flab?! I just want the rest of my body to be toned while my belly does whatever it needs to. It really doesnt help that my husband (amazing as it sounds..) runs and gets me whatever I am craving.. And is a Taco Bell fiend. I honestly try to eat healthy but when someone is sitting next to you eating your favorite things smothered in sour cream............. o_O .. Anyone feel the same out there?Any advice? Maybe we can motivate each other.. Thanks for the thoughts & replies =)

Hey Sindel, I understand how you feel... this time last year I was 80lbs overweight and it was sooo hard to keep myself motivated but I managed to and went from a size 22 to a size 8. I am pregnant now and continue going to the gym daily. The way I think of it, it's like a job and I HAVE to do it, no matter how I feel or what else I have to do. Some days I am rearing to go and love working out and other days it's a struggle to get through the routine.
I was never good at starving so I compensated for extra calories at the gym... if I ate a 300 calorie sandwhich then I added an extra 300 calories to the ammount I needed to burn. The way I avoided bad foods most of the time...was just to be deprived, it sounds bad and it's hard but once you see some results from working out it'll get easier.
My husband was way too supportive of my bad habits too and so I had to tell him not to encourage me to eat anything I wanted and so far he rolls his eyes alot (because I special order everything when we go out) but supports my dieting. I have a 3 and a 4 year old, so I know it's hard... if you need someone to help keep you motivated I'd be glad to help!

oh, I forgot to mention. I am pregnant and with all the working out I do, I am still gaining weight where I don't want to..so that might be unavoidable.
