Mild Cramping After Exercise

I am 16 weeks pregnant and after suffering through horrible morning sickness until a few days ago, I finally made it back to the gym today. I was very active before becoming pregnant but today was the first time I've exercised (apart from walking) since the end of Sept. I did 30 minutes on the elliptical at a slow pace and kept my heart rate around 140. I felt fine during exercise but now a few hours later, I have some very mild cramping that is low in my pelvic area. We had an appt. yesterday and heard the heartbeat and baby moving around. I'm worried now that the exercise was too much even though I was very careful not to exert myself much (I barely broke a sweat). Anyone else experience this after resuming exercising???
