My Experience With Exercise And My Pregnancy

I wanted to share my exercise experience while I was pregnant. My son is now 7 weeks old, and I am so glad that I kept up with a routine.
I kept my weight training up till the day before I gave birth. My cardio was about 5 days per week, watching my heart rate closely in the last 2 trimesters.
My advice is watch that you do not over do it with your joints- such as deep knee bends, etc. Your joints are so lose as it is, that extra stress could result in an injury. Stretch as much as possible! Make time for this too.

hey, so how was your labor? do you think working out the entire pregnancy really helped you out with that? what type of cardio did you do?

I did pre-natal yoga and drank alot of water my whole pregnancy. It worked great for me. I never once had a backache and I had very little swelling until the last few weeks when my feet and ankles swelled some. I don't know if the yoga had anything to do with it, but I dilated from a 2 to a 10 in 30 minutes when I went into labor (1st baby too).
