I'm a runner which I plan on continuing, but I also like to lift weights and do pilates and yoga. Someone mentioned that there is some issue with abdominal exercies during the first trimester. Has anyone heard of this?

My dr told me that it's OK in the first trimester but not after that. Some exercises that don't require you to lie on your back are OK, but when you do ab exercises lying on your back after the 1st trimester it can put pressure and cut off the flow that the baby needs.
