I rode horses most days up until I was too uncomfortable to get up and down and when the saddle pushed up against my belly. Either way, I think I probably rode for too long, into my fifth month (just walking in the end) and now stop when I begin to show (pregnant with fourth child). So many unpredictable things can happen when riding, and your balance and response seems to slow down too, that I now don't ride too often as I don't want to take the risk. It's only a sacrifice for a few months! Good luck...

Hey I ride horses too, mostly pleasure, but some speed. riding horses is on the list of things NOT TO DO when you are pregnant. MAinly because horses are unpredictable (even the ones that you think you know like the back of your hand) and you could get thrown off. This could mean death for your baby. Please don't ride anymore during your pregnancy.

Thanks girls! I think I will go ahead and ride until it gets uncomfortable. I ride every single day. It is my life and always has been, so I will be very careful, but will ride as long as I can.
