Cant Lose Weight

It's been 3 1/2 months since I had my baby and I still haven't lost all the weight. I've tried everything, I'm eating healthy, exercising, I even took diet pills at one point thinking they might help. I weight 110lbs before the pregnancy, then went to 160 lbs when I was pregnant, now I'm down to 130. Does anyone know how I can lose the weight? I also gained a lot of weight near my chin, starting to look like a double chin, does anyone know how to exercise that off? I just feel so unattractive and my boyfriend doesn't help because he keeps comparing how I look now to how I used to look. I just want to be back to normal. Another thing is the stretch marks, I've been using cream and everything, does anyone know how to get rid of them or at least fade them more???

Cardio cardio cardio, and for the stretch marks, moisture moisture moisture. Nobody expects you to look like a supermodel 3 1/2 months post baby, and if they do.....let me give them a piece of MY mind! It takes time, some longer than others. Don't stress, that will only make you feel worse. Be proud of the fact that you have already lost 30 pounds, thats great!!

Hi sa__sifras thanks for writing to my post. It's just hard because I keep thinking about how I used to look so it makes me depressed. I put lotion on every day and I still have stretch marks all over, and then I have been walking every day and eating right and I still can't seem to lose it. I try not to let it bother me, I mean I did have a baby not long ago and I can't just expect the fat to fall off, but everyone keeps telling me about when they had a kid how fast the fat went away. I even have a little bit of a double chin going which I never had. Plus I just feel so unattractive. I wish I had something to boost my confidence I guess, then I wouldn't worry about how I look so much. Thank you for writing to my post. It does make me feel better to know that other people think its good that I've lost as much weight as I have.

Try Pilates...it will help your ab muscles get back into shape.

I'd also add weight training to your routine. Muscle burns calories much quicker than fat, so the more muscle you can put on, the better in terms of speeding up your metabolism. Just keep the weights light and do lots of reps (3 or 4 sets of 20 reps at light weight) to gain muscle definition without bulking up.

i weighed the same as you before i got pregnant. i gained 60lbs during it and my son is now 8 months old and i weigh 127lbs. Its hard to get rid of the weight. I am just starting the south beach diet and a regular gym routine so i hope it helps. As for the stretch marks, i don't think you can do much.
