Decreased Fetal Movement After Teaching Spin

I am 20 weeks pregnant and have felt my baby move regularly since week 17. I've tought spin (cycling classes) for years, but didn't teach until the last three weeks because I was too sick early in my pregnancy. I tought on Monday and my heart rate got up higher than I normally let it (155) and since that class I haven't felt my baby move very much at all. I have felt him move, but not near as much. His heartbeat dropped 25 beats from what it normally is after the spin class, but now it is where it normally is. (I have a doppler) Should I just tone down the intensity, or is this something I should call my doctor about?

Personally I would ask your Dr. b/c anyone else would probably just be guessing. I would a__sume everything's fine but I would call just to put your mind at ease. Good luck.

Check w/doctor to be safe. But I was extremely active while preg and I noticed my son didn't move around much while I was exercising. It was usually when I sat still for a little while. So I really wouldn't worry about it. There were a couple of times that I felt I overdid it --not from somekind of fetal reaction -- i just felt beyond exhausted or a little woozy. Then I'd take a few days off.

All the experts say not to let your heartbeat get over 140 bpm. Talk to your Dr. about what is safe for you. Good luck!

My doctor said to continue whatever excersise I was doing before pregnancy but not to over exert. I think your cla__s sounds like it could be dangerouse.
