How Many Inches Has Your Waist Increased

how many inches have you gained around your waist (how many weeks along). Theres so much info out there about average weight gain for your size, but i cant find any average gains in inches anywhere. I suppose there probablly isnt much of an average

My waist seems to have ballooned - mind you that before I had a six-pack and now... it looks like a kegger. I'm 37 weeks and have gone from a 26" waist to (last time I checked) 38" and that was some time ago. It's all so so sad.

Ang, consider yourself tiny! I am 24 weeks and my waistline is at 37 inches! I started out just under 30.

Erin, I finally stopped checking when I reached 7 1/2 months -- so I know that it's gotten far beyond 12 inches lol It's all for a good cause though, it's not like we're sitting around and just gaining 40lbs for no reason.

Exactly, I totally agree. This time around moreso than my first two pregnancies I am not as concerned about weight gain and such because there is a little person in there who I will get to hold in three months!

Hi Nik, I don't know how far along you are, I'm at 15wks today (or will be in this wk some time, we don't have exact dates) and I've gone from a 23" waist at the time I got pregnant to a whopping 27" in this little time!!! (I don't even look that pregnant yet...)

Hi Nik -- You asked the question I myself have been wondering for some time. And when I asked former pregnant women, they could not answer -- perhaps trying to forget the trauma!
Anyway, I am 21 weeks, and my waist has gone from 26 to 31 inches. The bigger girth is below my navel. I still look like a have a waist, but I know that I'm carrying low as confirmed by ultrasound --- the little guy likes to hide between my hip bone and pelvic region.
