I have been taking spinning classes for the past 6 months and just found out I was preggers..about 6 weeks..is it safe to keep it up as long as I keep somewhat cool (fan overhead).? Alson what about running, I run on the treadmill at the gym doing a light jog for 10 mins then I start doing sprints every 1 - 2 mins I do this from anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes..just depends on energy level and wether I am going to be doing a spin class that night. Any info anyone can give would be great. Woth my last 2 pregs I was given mixed advice form the docs and nurses so I am confused on this issue.

I have always heard you can keep up with what you've been doing, but only to a certain point. I think you should listen to your body. During my first trimester, I felt so bad all the time that I got out of the habit of working out, and it was all downhill from there. If you can keep it up at a moderate pace (maybe avoid the sprints) I would think that's fine. But, you should still ask your doctor to make sure there's not something that would prevent you from keeping it up.
