At 5 weeks, I had put on 5 pounds (in just 2 weeks, between 4-5 weeks). It must have been all water of course, but a part of it was daily binging for about 14-16 days. Now at 7w 1 d I dropped 3 pounds. I exercise daily (jog outdoors 3 miles 5x week). I think the problem is the amount of food you (all of us) are eating. Around 4-5 weeks, for a 2 week period, I wa so hungry I could NOT stop eating. Like all day long, and a big majority was chocolate chip cookie dough. After a week of telling myself to quit binging (this was week 6 and it was HARD to drop the sugar) , the weight is dropping a bit. I eat a 2 egg omelete loaded with vegies and cheese for lunch, MAYBE some grapes in the afternoon, and whatever we are having for dinner, be it pasta, healthy food, whatever. And a big gla__s of milk for every meal. I do feel potty for sure. All that blood flow and water I bet. Before pregnancy I was 5'6" 129 pounds.

Oh also, and this is gross sorry, I take fiber pills (Fibercon) so all that stuff is moving easily daily. That can cause enormous bloating.

I was told not to exercise my first month of pregnancy because I had some cramping. This week I am starting Yoga and walking. Hopefully that will help me not gain too much weight. I used to do Pilates three times a week but that is a lot of ab work and they told me to stay away from ab work.
