Due Dates

How many people have had accurate Ultrasounds? Are the EDD that they give you almost accurate? If my baby came early than the due date, would that mean I conceived at a different date than I thought? Or does that just mean my baby wanted to be born early?

The doctor was right about my son being a boy when he did the ultrasound on me. I am pregnant again with number 2. Just because you have your baby a different day that your due date doesn't mean that you conceived on a different day. With my son my due date was June 26 and he was born June 23. Babies come when they are ready.

all mine were two weeks late only 5% of pregnancies end on the due date given it can be two weeks either side so think of your last month as being you due month lol

The ultra-sounds can be accurate but only when done between certain weeks of the pregnancy after that all babies grow at different rates. The due date is usually two weeks either side of the day you are actually given but a lot depends on when you OV and how long your cycles are. If you are certain of you LMP date go by that. Any baby born before the 37th weeks of pregnancy is declared premature.
