Friend S Due Date Changed

A friend of mine went to the doctor this month and he told her that her due date changed to 9 days earlier than originally expected. I've read that the doctors rarely due this unless the baby is over 2 to 3 weeks further or less along than the original date. Is that true? Do you think she may have lied about when she got pregnant so she could name someone else as the father?

the doctor's office goes off of when she had her last period and they go off a regular period that comes every 28 days if her period doesn't come every 28 days then they can be off and if she can't remember the exact date of the first day of her last period then it could be off. with my son i had him 7 days before the due date my doctor gave me and i wasn't sure what day i had started on my last period so i gave them the closes date i could think of. it could just be that the doctor's miscalculated the due date the first time 9 days is not that big of a change
