I was off the pill in January. In March I had s_x on the 7th and then again several times the week of the 13th. My lmp was 3/1/06 and I have had regular 28 day cycles. According to the calendars I conceived on the 16th due on 12/7. According to the first ultrasound at 8wks I conceived on the 14th due on 12/5. How can I be sure? There is a question of paternity. Please I've had all the moral lectures.

your ultra sound is more accurate then the calenders only because they can see what stage your baby is in.

As far as having 2 dates as close are your are (16 and 14th) you really aren't going to be able to know without a paternity test. Normally an u/s is more accurate than your lmp dates, but the 2 days that your asking about are only 1 day apart. While the u/s can give you a good idea, babies grow at different rates and a 2 day difference is not enough to know for sure. I had an u/s a 6w and the baby measured 5w 6d. I had a 2nd u/s at 6w 4d and the baby measured 6w 5d so my baby measured 2 days smaller than my dates at 6 weeks, and 4 days later it measured a day biger than my dates. If you had a few weeks different the u/s would be giving you a really acurate idea but between if you got preg the 14th or the 16th? You're going to have to do a paternity test to know for sure.
